Eligibility

To qualify, applicants must:

Hold an offer for an eligible master’s course at UAL for 2025/26.
Be domiciled in one of the selected countries listed above.
Have an annual household income of £55,000 or less (or equivalent in local currency).

Submit a personal statement answering the following (maximum 350 words each):

How would this scholarship make a difference to you?
How will you use this qualification to achieve your future goals?
How will your education address social or environmental challenges in your home country?
Confirm any other sources of funding you have applied for or received.
Provide supporting documents (proof of income, residency, etc.).
Applicants must not already hold a UK postgraduate qualification or its equivalent.

You must have an offer to study a taught master’s course at one of UAL’s Colleges or Institutes.
Courses offered by UAL Online are not eligible.

The UAL £25,000 Scholarship is a means-tested award designed to support academically excellent students from low-income households in selected countries. Application Procedure

Once you receive an offer to study at UAL, your applicant portal (under the “My Finance and Funding” tab) will display available scholarship forms from mid-January 2025.
Submit your completed scholarship application by 22 June 2025.

Scholarship Coverage And Conditions

This scholarship only covers tuition fees up to £25,000.
It does not cover accommodation, travel, or living expenses.
If the awarded amount exceeds your Year 1 tuition fee (e.g., in part-time or extended courses), the remaining funds will be applied to Year 2.
You can only accept one UAL scholarship or award, even if selected for multiple.
