Eligibility

To apply for the Chevening LSE Fellowship, applicants must:

Be a citizen of China and reside there at the time of application.
Hold a postgraduate qualification (Master’s degree or equivalent professional training/experience).
Have at least five years of work experience OR be currently enrolled in a PhD program (not at a UK, EU, or USA university).
Demonstrate: An excellent academic track record. A strong interest in the proposed research area. Evidence of relevant research outputs (journal articles, policy papers, reports, or publications). Enthusiasm for participating in LSE’s academic community.
