Eligibility
Prospective Students Must be graduating high school students commencing studies at UCD in September 2024. Demonstrated exceptional athletic achievements in their chosen sport. Strong academic record: 6 H1s in the Leaving Certificate, 4 A* at A-level, or equivalent International Baccalaureate score (contact UCD Admissions for equivalency). Current UCD Students Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.68. Successful completion of 60 graded ECTS credits and fulfillment of program progression requirements. Nomination by their respective UCD academic department based on academic excellence.

Application Procedure
The UCD Ad Astra Elite Sports Scholars program involves a three-step application process: Step#1: Submit Your Application Complete the online application form available on the UCD Ad Astra Academy website. Prepare a compelling personal statement outlining your goals and aspirations. Detail your sporting achievements in a dedicated statement. Provide supporting documentation to evidence your academic and athletic accomplishments. Step#2: Shortlisting and Interviews Applications undergo a rigorous evaluation based on academic merit and the strength of your statements. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in an interview. Step#3: Scholarship Offers Up to sixteen exceptional candidates will be awarded scholarships.
