Post-doctoral and faculty research fellowships (short-term research stays).
Eligibility
Visiting fellows must be post-doctoral scholars or experienced faculty members with a strong international research reputation, employed abroad.
The application must be submitted by a host at the University of Bonn who holds a doctoral degree.
Selection is based on the fellow's scientific reputation, the planned contribution to academic life in Bonn and the potential for long-term collaboration.
The stay may last a maximum of 12 days and must take place within the funding period stated in the call.

Benefits

Daily stipend of €160 for a maximum of 12 days.
Up to €500 per proposal for event materials, catering (€50 per external guest, €40 per university member) and outreach activities.

Application Procedure
The University of Bonn host submits the application through the online form on the official fellowship page, attaching a project description of no more than six pages, the fellow's CV, a signed invitation letter from the host and a financing plan prepared with the university's Excel template. Applications are only accepted while the annual call is open.
