Eligibility

1. SI Scholarship for Pioneering Women in STEM Eligibility Open to women from Bangladesh, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Philippines, Rwanda, South Africa, Thailand, and Vietnam . Applicable to the following master’s programmes at the University of Borås: AI Enhanced Supply Chain Management Sustainable Civil Engineering Biotechnology and Bioeconomy Sustainable Energy Processes Polymer Materials for the Circular Economy Textile Engineering Technical Textile Innovation 2. SI Scholarship for Global Professionals Eligibility: The Swedish Institute (SI) Scholarship for Global Professionals is a prestigious, fully funded scholarship designed for full-time master's studies in Sweden. To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

University Admission: Apply and be admitted to an eligible master's program in Sweden, meeting all admission requirements and being liable to pay tuition fees. Work Experience: Possess a minimum of 3,000 hours of demonstrated work experience, which can include full-time or part-time employment, internships, and voluntary work. Leadership Experience: Show leadership experience from current or previous employment or through civil society engagement. Prior Studies in Sweden: Not have previously studied in Sweden or hold a degree from a Swedish university. Residence in Sweden: Not have resided in Sweden for more than two years prior to the scholarship period. Other Scholarships: Not have previously been awarded an SI scholarship for master's studies.

Scholarships from the University of Borås What the Scholarships Cover The University of Borås scholarships are designed to cover approximately 75% of the tuition fees, reducing the financial burden for eligible students. However, these scholarships do not cover living expenses. The tuition fee waiver is directly applied to reduce the cost of the programme. Scholarships for Current Students Students already enrolled in two-year programmes at the University of Borås can apply for scholarships covering up to 75% of tuition fees for the remaining semesters. Applications open in March 2025, with further details available during the spring semester.

Eligible Nationalities

This scholarship is open to international students of all nationalities; however, some scholarships, such as the SI Scholarship for Pioneering Women in STEM, have nationality restrictions. Please check the official website for more information.
