Eligibility
To qualify for the Mastercard Foundation Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria: Citizenship: Candidates must be citizens of an African country. Residency: Applicants must be residing in an African country, except for those temporarily absent due to study or work, or those with refugee or displaced status. Academic Program: The scholarship is available for master’s courses of up to one year in duration at the University of Cambridge. Academic Requirements: Applicants must meet the academic standards set for their chosen course.

Application Procedure
To be considered for the Mastercard Foundation Scholarship, applicants must: Apply for Admission: Submit an application for admission to the University of Cambridge through the course directory . The funding deadlines are course-specific, either 5th December 2024 or 7th January 2025. Supplementary Statement: Include a supplementary statement highlighting a commitment to promoting climate resilience and sustainable futures for Africa. Application Fee Waiver: To be eligible for the application fee waiver, applicants must meet the academic standards for their chosen program. Important Deadlines 4th December 2024: Deadline for courses with a 4th December funding cutoff. 7th January 2025: Deadline for courses with a 7th January funding cutoff.
