Eligibility
To apply for the TDR Postgraduate Scholarship 2025–2026, applicants must: Be nationals and residents of an English-speaking country in the WHO African Region Be 37 years old or younger Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field Meet the University of Ghana’s admission requirements for local or international students Be proficient in English Be employed by an academic institution, research organization, not-for-profit, or Ministry of Health in an LMIC Have strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and data analysis software Identify a local supervisor or mentor before starting the program

Available Subjects
The TDR Postgraduate Training Scheme is designed to enhance research capacity in Implementation Research (IR), particularly in addressing major global health challenges related to infectious diseases of poverty. The program focuses on four key areas: Epidemics and outbreaks Control and elimination of diseases of poverty Climate change’s impact on health Antimicrobial resistance This program will equip scholars with the necessary research skills to address health system bottlenecks and implement evidence-based interventions in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
