Eligibility

Who can apply? International students (you and both parents must be foreign citizens). Not eligible if you or your parents have dual citizenship with Korea (unless you were foreign citizens before Korean high school equivalency). Completed or expect to complete high school (homeschooling, cyber learning, adult education not accepted). Students transferring from a Korean university must return home and get a new visa after admission. Language Requirements: Korean Track (most programs): Minimum TOPIK score: Level 3 (Level 4 for Korean Language or IBE major). Pass the INU Korean Proficiency Test (date announced later). Must reach TOPIK Level 4 before graduation. English Track (limited availability): Only for IBE major and Public Administration (ending in 2025). Minimum English proficiency score required (TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, PETS). Native English speakers from listed countries (Australia, Canada, etc.) are exempt. Some courses are taught in Korean. Additional Requirements: All students must complete the mandatory Korean Culture and Language program (IPA).

Application Procedure

Access the Website: Visit http://admission.inu.ac.kr. Click on "외국인 전형 온라인접수 (Online Application for International Students)". Create a New Account: Register with your full name and email address. Complete the Application Form: Fill out the form carefully. After submitting, print a copy of the completed form. Click the "제출 (Submit)" button b y 17:00 on October 18, 2024 . Application Portal for Spring 2025 Intake will be opened on September 9, 2024 . Submit Required Documents: Include a printed copy of the online application. Documents must be submitted by post or in person to the International Service Center by October 18, 2024 . Pay the Application Fee: Make a virtual account payment. Important Guidelines: Accuracy of Information: Fill out the application form and submit documents carefully, as they will be used throughout the application process. Notify the International Service Center of any modifications. Name and Registration Details: Write your name exactly as it appears on your passport. Include your alien registration number if applicable. If not, use the following format: Male student born on May 15, 1992: 920515-599999 Female student born on May 15, 1992: 920515-699999 Male student born on May 15, 2000: 000515-799999 Female student born on May 15, 2000: 000515-899999 Personal Information: Ensure high school name, address, phone number, and email address are correctly written and match the submitted documents. Use the official English name of your school. Language Certificate: Submit a Korean or English Language Certificate with the score written on the application. The certificate must be valid through the online application period. If the language certificate cannot be submitted before the deadline, provide a written notification in the application. Photo Requirements: Upload a photo (3cm x 4cm) taken within the last 3 months. Honesty and Communication: Ensure all information is truthful and complete. Failure to submit required materials or provide accurate contact information may result in withdrawal from admission review. Major Selection: Applicants cannot change their major after the application period ends.
