To be eligible for the scholarship, you must:
Be a new international student joining an eligible master’s or MRes programme in September 2025 or January 2026
Be paying your tuition fee at the international rate
Be studying full-time, on-campus in Liverpool
Have accepted your offer and paid the tuition fee deposit by the deadline outlined in your offer letter

Who Is Not Eligible
You will not be eligible for this scholarship if you:
Have previously studied at:
University of Liverpool International College
Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU)
University of Liverpool (as an undergraduate or on a Study Abroad/Exchange programme)
Are enrolling in:
Online or distance-learning programmes
PGCert, MPhil, MArch, PhD, Professional Doctorates (including DDSc), or unlisted master's courses
Already hold a master’s degree
Have your tuition fees paid by a government, commercial organisation, or employer
Are eligible for either the Postgraduate Global Advancement Scholarship - Course or the Achievement variant (these scholarships cannot be combined)
For part-time students, the scholarship is awarded pro-rata, divided over the length of the course. For example, students on a two-year programme will receive £1,250 per academic year.
Application Procedure
No application is needed. The scholarship is automatically awarded to all eligible students who meet the criteria. The tuition fee discount will be applied directly to your fee account.
Please note: The scholarship has no cash value, is non-transferable, and may be withdrawn if programme capacity is reached or conditions are not met.
