University of Manchester UK Global Futures Scholarship 2025 (Worth up to £24,000) is available to undertake Masters level programs at University of Manchester.

Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Applicants: Domiciled in South Asia: The awards are available for students from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Applicants must have predominantly lived in one of these countries over the past three years. Academic Excellence: Scholarships are merit-based, with awards allocated based on predicted and achieved grades. Self-Funded: Applicants must not be sponsored and must demonstrate that they are funding their education independently. Eligible Courses: Students applying for specific courses like MBA, MPhil, Architecture, Clinical Medicine, and Dentistry are not eligible for the undergraduate awards. Country of Residence: Applicants who have completed their Bachelor’s degree outside South Asia are ineligible. Eligibility Criteria for Master’s Applicants: Domicile and Residency: As with the undergraduate scholarships, applicants must be domiciled in South Asia and have predominantly resided in one of these countries for the last three years. Academic Performance: The scholarship selection is based on academic merit and the strength of the application. Course Eligibility: Certain programs such as MBA, MPhil, and specific architecture or clinical programs are excluded from eligibility. Self-Funded: Applicants must be self-funded and cannot be receiving sponsorship from other organizations.

Benefits

For undergraduate students, the University will provide more than 100 merit-based scholarships, each worth up to £24,000 over three years. These scholarships will be awarded in increments of £8,000 per year, helping to alleviate the cost of international tuition. The undergraduate awards are open to students taking A-level, IB, Indian Standard XII, or AP exams. Students must apply for eligible courses and have received a conditional or unconditional offer to study full-time on campus by the April 2025 deadline.
The University offers over 230 merit-based scholarships for master’s students, with each award providing £8,000 towards tuition fees . Like the undergraduate awards, the master’s scholarships are also open to students from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence and the quality of the applicants’ responses to the scholarship application form.

Application Procedure

Application Process for Undergraduate Scholarships: The application form for the scholarship will only be made available once students have received a formal offer from the University. The submission deadline for applications is 10 April 2025, and all successful applicants will be notified by 30 April 2025. Scholarship applicants will need to answer several questions regarding their academic achievements and future aspirations, and responses will be considered alongside academic merit. Application Process for Master’s Scholarships: Eligible applicants must submit their scholarship applications by 10 April 2025. Similar to the undergraduate awards, the application form will only be made available after an offer has been received. Successful candidates will be notified by 30 April 2025.
