University of Maryland USA Udall Undergraduate Scholarship 2025 (Funding Up to $7000) is available to undertake level programs at University of Maryland.
Eligibility
To qualify, applicants must: Be sophomores or juniors enrolled in a U.S. college or university. Demonstrate a strong commitment to environmental issues through studies, community service, and career aspirations. Have a history of leadership, activism, and/or research in environmental fields such as public policy, science, engineering, education, urban planning, business, health, and more.

The Udall Scholarship is designed to support students committed to making a difference in environmental stewardship and public policy. Scholars receive: Award Amount: Up to $7,000 for tuition, room, board, or educational expenses. Networking Opportunities: Access to an exclusive Udall Alumni network. Leadership Development: Participation in a five-day conference in Tucson, Arizona, where you’ll connect with other scholars, elected officials, and environmental leaders.
Eligible Nationalities
Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a GPA of 3.5 or higher and a strong record of environmental activism.

Application Procedure
All University of Maryland (UMD) applicants must be nominated by the university. Here’s how you can get started: Prepare for Campus Nomination: Submit your application to UMD by Friday, January 17, 2025. Attend Virtual Information Sessions: Monday, November 25: 12:30–1:00 PM or 4:00–4:30 PM Wednesday, December 4: 4:00–4:30 PM Thursday, December 5: 12:00–12:30 PM If you can’t attend a session, email scholarships@umd.edu for guidance.
