Be a citizen of a Stipendium Hungaricum partner country and be nominated by the responsible authority of your home country.
Not hold Hungarian citizenship (dual citizens are ineligible).
Apply for the first time at the chosen level of study; former scholarship holders cannot reapply for the same level.

Available Subjects
All English-taught programmes offered by the University of Pécs, including medicine, health sciences, engineering, business, humanities, sciences, arts and law.
Benefits
Full exemption from tuition fees.
Monthly stipend of HUF 43,700 for bachelor and master students, or HUF 140,000 for doctoral students, paid for 12 months a year.
Dormitory placement or a monthly housing contribution of HUF 40,000.
Medical insurance, with supplementary coverage of up to HUF 65,000 per year.
Eligible Nationalities
Citizens of the Stipendium Hungaricum sending partner countries (currently more than 90 countries across Asia, Africa, the Americas, Europe and the Middle East). Hungarian citizens and dual citizens are not eligible.

Application Procedure
Register in the Tempus Public Foundation online application system at apply.stipendiumhungaricum.hu, log in with your applicant access code and select up to two University of Pécs programmes in order of priority. Complete the application form, upload the required documents (diplomas, transcripts, language certificate, motivation letter, medical certificate, passport copy) and submit before the deadline. Then make sure you are nominated by your home country's sending partner authority. Shortlisted applicants may be invited to an entrance examination or interview by the university.
