Cip Study Abroad Scholarships Usi
USI students can apply for three major CIP scholarships using one standard application through the myUSI Study Abroad Portal . Students may apply for all scholarships they are eligible for but can receive only one award .
Application Deadline: March 6 Applicable Terms: Fall, Summer I & Summer II
Usi Study Abroad Ambassador Scholarship
This scholarship supports students who promote study abroad through ambassador projects after returning.
Award Amounts:
$2,000 (Academic Year)
$1,500 (One Semester)
Up to $1,000 (Summer or Short-Term Programs)
Eligibility:
Accepted into a USI study abroad program
Must earn USI credit
Enroll at USI in the following fall or spring semester
Complete ambassador projects within 6 months
Usi Global Engagement Scholarship
The Global Engagement (GE) Scholarship supports study, research, and internship abroad programs focused on global challenges.
Award Amount:
Up to $3,000

Accepted into a USI credit-bearing study abroad program

Ideal for students passionate about digital storytelling, social media, and global learning .
Award Amounts:
$1,500 (Summer Programs)
$2,000 (Semester or Academic Year)

Good academic standing
Digital portfolio + interview required
Participation in the Study Abroad Ambassador Program
