The UTS President’s Scholarship supports the following research degree programs:

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

Master of Research (MRes)

Eligibility

To qualify for the UTS President’s Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Be classified as an international (overseas) student
Be accepted into a Higher Degree by Research program at the University of Technology Sydney
Enroll in a full-time research program
Study in an approved research concentration area at the university
Not have completed a degree at the same or higher level as the proposed program
Not have previously held an Australian Government-funded postgraduate research scholarship, unless it ended within six months
Not receive another scholarship or salary that exceeds 75% of the UTSP stipend rate
Students must also maintain Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) during their studies in Australia.
