Available Subjects

Publishing
Primary Departments for 2025-2026 Fellowships Marketing and EDP (Editing, Design, and Production) Fellowship: Gain hands-on experience with marketing strategies, media research, seasonal catalogs, review lists, and sales tools. Collaborate with the EDP team on manuscript preparation, file clean-up, editing, proofreading, indexing, and project management. Marketing Design Fellowship: Focus on creating visual assets for social media campaigns, email marketing, Amazon book pages, and display advertising. Utilize advanced design tools like Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.

Benefits

Stipend and Financial Benefits Fellows will receive a stipend of $42,000 for the year, broken down as follows: $38,500 base pay, paid monthly at $3,500. $3,500 health insurance stipend, ensuring access to healthcare benefits. Fellows are granted visiting scholar status at the University of Texas at Austin, allowing them to purchase student health insurance and access campus libraries. Additionally, fellows receive paid time off and regular staff holidays, contributing to a balanced work-life experience. Training and Professional Development Fellows will receive comprehensive, in-house training within their chosen department. Attendance at the Association of University Presses annual meeting and one additional scholarly conference for professional growth. Résumé (maximum two pages). One-page personal statement, specifying the desired fellowship (either Marketing and EDP or Marketing Design).
