VLIR-UOS Belgium ICP Connect Scholarships 2025 (Fully Funded) is available to undertake Masters level programs at Belgium Universities.
Eligibility
To qualify for the VLIRUOS ICP Connect Scholarships, applicants must meet the following key criteria: Nationality and Residency: Be a national of one of the 30 eligible countries. Reside in any of these countries at the time of application. Age Restrictions: Bachelor/Initial Master: Maximum age of 35 as of January 1 of the intake year. Advanced Master: Maximum age of 45 as of January 1 of the intake year. Professional Background: Priority is given to candidates from higher education, government, or civil society sectors. Newly graduated applicants or those in the private sector with no work experience may still apply if they demonstrate strong motivation and a compelling profile. Scholarship Limitations: Applicants can apply for only one ICP Connect Scholarship per year. They must not be receiving any other scholarships simultaneously for the same or another programme. Previous Scholarships: Candidates must not have previously received a Belgian government scholarship or been enrolled in a Belgian higher education programme before January 1 of the intake year. Selection Criteria: Scholars are selected based on their potential to contribute to societal transformation. Key selection parameters include: Motivation: Candidates must exhibit a clear alignment of their professional goals with themes of sustainable development and social impact. Professional Experience: Preference is given to candidates likely to implement their newly gained knowledge in higher education, government, civil society, or private sectors. Gender and Regional Balance: VLIRUOS encourages applications from women and aims for diverse regional representation. Leave No One Behind: Priority is extended to candidates from vulnerable groups in the event of equally qualified applicants. Scholarship History: Applicants who have never received a scholarship to study in a higher-income country are prioritized.

What Costs Are Covered? The ICP Connect Scholarships ensure comprehensive financial support, including: Tuition fees. Travel expenses. Insurance coverage. Living expenses for the entire programme duration (12/24/36 months).
