Washington State Scholarship USA Baccalaureate Scholarship 2025-2026 (Worth $22,500) is available to undertake Bachelor level programs at USA Universities.

Eligibility

To qualify for the BaS, applicants must meet the following criteria: Residency Must be a Washington State resident. Typically, this means living in the state for one year immediately before starting college. WSOS accepts undocumented applicants. Financial Need Family income must not exceed 125% of Washington State's median family income. Applicants must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA). Education Plan Plan to enroll in an eligible STEM or healthcare major at an eligible Washington State college or university. Enroll in at least three credits every fall, winter, and spring terms. Previous Education Must not have earned a bachelor’s degree. Must have earned or will earn a high school credential in Washington State by June of the application year. Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 or a passing GED score. If in college, must not have earned more than 90 quarter or 60 semester credits by the application deadline.

Application Procedure

To apply for the Baccalaureate Scholarship:

Completing the FAFSA or WASFA early: Financial aid applications can take time to process, so starting early is crucial (Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA).
Apply for Federal Education Tax Credits , if eligible.
Choose a major from the eligible list that interests you. If you change majors later, ensure the new major is still WSOS-eligible and notify WSOS.
Select the college you hope to attend, ensuring it's on the eligible colleges’ list .
Prepare answers for the short answer section of the application, focusing on your story rather than writing ability.
No references are required.
