Western Union Global Fellowship Program 2025 (Fully Funded)

Overview

The Western Union Global Fellowship Program is a fully funded virtual fellowship designed for social entrepreneurs and leaders who have experienced or are actively working with refugee, displaced, or underserved populations.

Through world-class mentorship, skill-building workshops, and global networking, fellows receive the support they need to scale their nonprofit or for-profit ventures that deliver solutions for historically underserved communities.

Are from or actively supporting marginalized, refugee, or forcibly displaced communities

Run a nonprofit or for-profit venture that is already operating and ready to scale

Have secured or plan to secure a clinical or community placement for impact delivery

Are committed to fully participating in all program activities

Program Structure

Duration: August 25 – December 16, 2025

Weekly Sessions: Tuesday to Thursday, 8:30 AM–10:30 AM MT (GMT–6)

Weekly Commitment: 8–10 hours

Immersive Start Period: 10–15 hours/week during the first two weeks

Basecamp: A community impact workshop you will plan and lead

Virtual Summit and Pitch Presentation

Full Program Funding

This is a fully funded impact fellowship—no program fees are required. Selected fellows receive:

Full access to a high-impact leadership development program

Community development stipend to lead a Basecamp event

Pitch video production and visibility at Watson's Virtual Summit

Professional Personal Growth

Hands-on leadership workshops (strategy, scaling, venture development)

One-on-one mentorship with experienced social impact leaders

Entrepreneur-in-residence guidance for your specific venture

Global Networking Exposure

Collaborate with a diverse international cohort

Present your work to funders, leaders, and changemakers

Expand your reach through Watson’s Basecamp model

Eligible Nationalities

Applicants from or working in the following countries are strongly encouraged to apply:

Interview via Zoom

A 20-minute session to explore alignment and vision
