Degree Level

Winter AI Governance Fellowship 2026, UK is available to undertake Fellowship level programs at UK Universities.

Available Subjects

Following subjects are available to study under this scholarship program.
Public Policy

Compensation Visa Support

Stipend: £11,000 for the 3-month period
Travel: Support for travel to London
Workspace: Desk at GovAI’s London office
Meals: Lunch provided on weekdays
Visa: Temporary 3-month work visa sponsorship available

What Youll Do As A Fellow

GovAI Winter Fellows work on an independent research project related to AI governance , supported by expert supervisors from within GovAI’s global network. Projects may result in outputs such as:

Policy white papers
Peer-reviewed research articles
Public opinion editorials (op-eds)
Blog posts or briefings for policymakers

In addition to research, fellows will engage in:

Workshops and seminars on AI safety and policy
Peer feedback sessions
Professional networking with global AI governance leaders
Social events and career guidance
