York International Scholarship of Distinction Eligibility: High school applicants or transfer students with a final average of 85%+. York International Merit Award Eligibility: High school applicants or transfer students with a final average of 80–84.9%. York International Entrance Award Eligibility: Applicants with a final average of 75–79.9%. Science Entrance Scholarship Eligibility: Faculty of Science applicants with a final average of 90%+. York International Transfer Award Eligibility: Transfer applicants with 24+ credits and a final average of 75%+. 2. Scholarships Requiring an Application President’s International Scholarship of Excellence Eligibility: High academic standing and leadership. Tentanda Via Award Eligibility: Demonstrates resilience and commitment to overcoming challenges. York Science Scholars Award (YSSA) Eligibility: Faculty of Science applicants. Deadline: February 28, 2025. Annie Demirjian’77 Scholarship Eligibility: Glendon applicants with 85%+ academic standing and financial need.

Scholarships Without Application Glendon International Excellence Scholarship Amount: $40,000 ($10,000 per year for 4 years). York International Scholarship of Distinction Amount: $37,500 ($15,000 in Year 1, $7,500 in Years 2–4). York International Merit Award Amount: $25,000 ($10,000 in Year 1, $5,000 in Years 2–4). York International Entrance Award Amount: $5,000 (one-time award). Science Entrance Scholarship Amount: $3,000. York International Transfer Award Amount: $2,500. 2. Scholarships Requiring an Application International students demonstrating exceptional academic achievements, leadership, or community involvement can apply for the following awards. President’s International Scholarship of Excellence Amount: $180,000 ($45,000 per year for 4 years). Tentanda Via Award Amount: $120,000 ($30,000 per year for 4 years). York Science Scholars Award (YSSA) Amount: $10,000 ($5,000 scholarship + $5,000 summer research position). Annie Demirjian’77 Scholarship Amount: $5,000–10,000.

Application Procedure
Submit your application for admission to York University early to receive your 9-digit York reference number. Complete the International Student Scholarship & Award Application (opening December 2, 2024, with a deadline of February 15, 2025 ). Upload all required documents, including a recommendation letter, by the deadline. Important Terms and Conditions Scholarships are only applicable to students paying international tuition rates. All conditions in the admission offer must be met to retain scholarship eligibility. Scholarships for deferred admission are automatically deferred to Winter 2026 but may not apply beyond the 2025-2026 academic year.
