Application Procedure
Here’s a step-by-step guide to applying:
Visit the Yunnan University International Student Service System ( ynu.at0086.cn ) before February 20, 2025.
Create an account, fill out the application, and upload required documents.
After receiving pre-admission documents, apply through the Chinese Government Scholarship System ( studyinchina.csc.edu.cn ) before March 15, 2025. Use Yunnan University’s Agency Number: 10673 and Program Category: B.
Applicants must upload the following:
Passport copy (valid for at least six months).
Personal ID photo.
Foreigner Physical Examination Form.
Academic transcripts and degree certificates (with notarized translations if not in English or Chinese).
Language proficiency certificates (HSK for Chinese-taught programs or IELTS/TOEFL for English-taught programs).
Study plan or research proposal (over 1,000 words).
Two recommendation letters.
No criminal record report.
YNU Application Deadline: February 20, 2025.
CSC Application Deadline: March 15, 2025.
Admission Results: Admission documents will be sent to scholarship recipients by August 2025.
