Eligibility
Undergraduate applicants must be under 30 years old and hold a high school diploma.
Master’s applicants must be under 35 years old with a bachelor's degree and provide two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors.
Doctoral applicants must be under 40 years old with a master’s degree, along with two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors.
Applicants must be foreign nationals with valid passports and must be in good health.
Adherence to laws and university regulations is mandatory.
Language proficiency is required depending on the program’s language of instruction. Applicants for Chinese-taught programs should provide an HSK certificate, while applicants for English-taught programs need to provide IELTS, TOEFL, or GRE certificates.
Applicants cannot hold other scholarships simultaneously.

The Zhejiang Normal University (ZJNU) Scholarship offers three types of financial assistance:
Type A: Full tuition fee coverage (no monthly stipend).
Type B: Half tuition fee coverage (no monthly stipend).
Type C: 4500 RMB towards educational expenses.

Application Procedure
Online Application: Apply via ZJNU Online Admission Portal before July 30, 2026.
Review & Selection: The university will review applications and select candidates based on merit and program requirements.
Registration Fee: Accepted students must pay a registration fee of 400 RMB or $70.
Admission Documents: Students will receive admission documents, including the JW202 Form and Admission Notice, by post.
Applicants must provide the following:
Passport photocopy.
Completed Foreigner Physical Examination Form.
Notarized educational diplomas and transcripts, translated into Chinese or English.
Study plans and personal goals.
Two recommendation letters from teachers.
Proof of no criminal record.
Bank statement.
Statement regarding no drug addiction.
Certificates of parents' nationality.
Language proficiency certificate (HSK, IELTS, TOEFL, or GRE).
Scholarship recipients must arrive on time; failure to do so without notice may lead to cancellation.
Students failing the entrance physical examination will not receive the scholarship.
Passport names must match all submitted documents; discrepancies will invalidate the application.
